Our Bonsai in the Garden event is THIS SATURDAY from 9:30AM-12PM at the NPBGS Grounds (1211 28th Ave N, Fargo, ND). We'll have Cody Schick leading a demonstration about bonsai techniques and Audrey Gilbraith leading the hands-on workshop. This demonstration and workshop is open to the public & free to attend. We are extremely excited to announce that we have exceeded our tractor fundraiser goal! The annual Scarecrows in the Garden event is celebrated onsite at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden (1211 28th Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102). Shop our Fall Market, grab some delicious food from @heart_n_soulcommunitycafe, take home a pumpkin or volunteer-made scarecrow, engage in kid's activities, snap some photos, and enjoy the final blooms of fall! This event is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome, but not required. Proceeds will be used to support the Northern Plains Botanic Garden.

A new feature is underway in the Japanese Garden! 🛠 A zig-zag bridge's 90-degree turns control the direction of visitors' gazes, prompting them to contemplate and enjoy the views from different angles. They can be found in Japanese and Chinese gardens, oftentimes going over a water feature. Kudos to our garden team for the work being put into this!

Calling all crafty fall-lovers! 🎃 We’re accepting donations of hand-decorated scarecrows for our Scarecrows in the Garden | Fall Market & Bake Sale event! Come enjoy the beautiful gardens, try fun and educational activities, and shop local vendors! This event will be taking place outdoors from 4-7PM on Friday, June 21st at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden (1211 28th Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102), light rain or shine. This event is free for all to attend, no tickets or RSVP required. Donations to NPBGS are greatly appreciated as we hope to raise funds and awareness for our cause!
