Holiday Greenery Exterior Installation at West Acres

Ho, Ho, Ho!

NPBGS will be installing holiday greenery outside at West Acres Shopping Center in Fargo on Sunday, November 5th and we need your help! 

We need twelve volunteers - those who enjoy working outside with fragrant spruce, pine, and cedar - to help with this annual volunteer effort, which benefits NPBGS.

We will meet outside at the main (north) entrance and start at 8 a.m. Standard Time*. The core work is expected to take 3 hours, but it could last until 1 p.m., depending on the number of volunteers and the weather conditions. Work will include "planting" spruce tips and other greenery in the raised planters, and decorating with ornaments and lights according to the design scheme.  

Volunteers are asked to dress for the weather and bring work gloves and a trowel. Extra trowels will be available for use. 

If you wish to volunteer, and you are committed to showing up and helping with this festive display for three hours, please RSVP to sign up with your email address. After we receive 12 committed RSVPs, this volunteer opportunity will be closed. However, more people can sign up on a "waiting list".

If you RSVP and realize later that you can not volunteer, please contact us - in advance if possible at info@npbotanicgarden.com - so that we can open the volunteer opportunity for others. 

*Please note that we "turn back the clock by one hour" early on November 5th, so our 8 a.m. start will still feel like 9 a.m.*
