Scarecrows in the Garden Event: Call for Donations

The Northern Plains Botanic Garden Society presents the second annual Scarecrows in the Garden fundraising event on Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden and Greenhouse (1211 28th Ave N, Fargo).

Show off your craftiness as you, or your team, create a unique one-of-a-kind scarecrow for sale. Scarecrows will be on display with their creator’s name, company, or organization! Funds raised will be used to support and grow the Northern Plains Botanic Garden.

Guidelines for making Scarecrows

1. Sign Up Here by Registering for your FREE ticket or Email info@npbotanicgarden.com 

2. RSVP your scarecrow contribution by September 15, 2022

3. Have fun and be creative!

4. Scarecrows can be made from “non-traditional” items

5. Size Restrictions: Between 12” and 72”

6. We ask that Scarecrows be built with support, so they are capable of standing alone.

7. Deliver Scarecrows and other donations no later than Friday Sept 16, between 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. 

to the Northern Plains Botanic Garden 1211 28th Ave N, Fargo, ND 58102 

8. Scarecrows will be displayed with their creator’s name/company/organization

9. Scarecrows should remain on display until 4pm, Saturday September 17, 2022.

Additional Fall Market donations of time, talent, and funding are always welcome!

• Fall Bulbs and Garden Perennials for Fall Planting

Drop off of food Items is requested on Friday, September 16, between 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. at the Northern Plains Botanic Garden Greenhouse -or- Saturday, September 17, before the 10 a.m. event start time.
