About the Event
NPBGS will be planting 50 trees and 22 shrubs in the Japanese Garden, starting on May 21st and we need your help!
If you can help, come when you can and bring your garden work gloves.
We ask that all volunteers for this tree planting project SIGN IN at the NPBGS Greenhouse. It's important that we track volunteer hours for this project's match grant.
We will start staging the plants at 8 a.m., followed by planting, mulching, watering, and staking.
Some of these post-planting tasks may occur over several days, depending upon progress.
